Chris' Story

Growing up, I worked with my dad part time during high school at a local tire shop where he was the manager. My father's passion was to open his own one day. Unfortunately he was never able to, due to his passing 18 years ago. His colleagues ended up opening their own business, Expert Tire and Alignment. As I worked in a different trade for 25 years, I taught apprentices in a managerial position. I established myself and grew my family but I always thought of my dad’s dream. Five years ago, the thought of starting my own business for myself and family started to brew in my head. I wanted to establish a legacy to leave to my two sons and generations to come. After being a long-time client and friend of my dad's colleagues, they mentioned wanting to retire after working 50 years in the tire/mechanic shop industry. I spoke with my wife and we decided this was a great idea. We had started to see how things could come together when tragically my wife passed away.  This tragedy put a halt in myself and my boys' lives but I knew we needed to do this. Our life flipped 180°, so I decided to take a chance. With the help of my family, friends, and the ones I have lost, we started the dream! Now instead of helping out apprentices in my previous trade, I get to help out the community and treat them like family!
